The Glacier Express Route Zermatt - Brig- Andermatt - Chur - St Moritz


The Glacier Express is an adventurous 7 ½ hour ride crossing 291 bridges and 91 tunnels between Zermatt and St. Moritz (or vice versa). It is known as the "slowest express train in the world" and is the most popular scenic journey in Switzerland. While on board in 1st and 2nd class you can marvel at the views in the panoramic coach. A 3 course lunch (optional) is served at your seat.

From 9th Dec 07 until 09th May 08 there is only one Glacier Express in each direction daily.
From 10th May 08 until 19th Oct 08 there are 3 services in each direction and one service from Zermatt to Davos.

Seat reservations on the Glacier Express Premium and Standard trains are mandatory and prices vary from £5.00 low season to £14.00 in the high season. Lunch is additional £20.00

    The Golden Pass Panoramic & Classic Route Montreux - Zweisimmen- Interlaken Ost - Luzern


    The Golden Pass Panoramic Express connects Lake Geneva and Central Switzerland.
    Here you can see where the rich and famous live as well as marvel at vineyards and country estates. A seat reservation on the Golden Pass Panoramic is recommended and is approx £5.00.

    For a special ride, why not take a seat at the front of the train and see the scenery from a different view. (VIP seats are compulsory and have a special supplement.) Services run daily and frequently in both directions.

    Between Montreux and Zweisimmen (and vice versa), travellers can now enjoy the “Golden Pass Classic” with refurbished vintage Orient Express cars.

      The William Tell Express Route Lake Luzern - Flüelen- Bellinzona - Locarno/Lugano


      The William Tell Express connects Central Switzerland and the Italian region of Ticino. There are now two services in both directions. Reservation on the William Tell Express is compulsory and includes meal on the first class paddle steamer and a reservation in the first class panoramic train. Customers must have a valid 1st class ticket. It is possible for 2nd class holders to upgrade. The William Tell Express only operates from mid May till the end of October.

      The supplement on the William Tell Express is £18.00 including meal and seat reservation.

        The Bernina Express Route Chur - St Moritz – Tirano (Italy)


        Cross the Alps from North to South (or vice versa) in style!
        The Bernina Express rides over graceful viaducts, along mountain streams and even past an alpine garden. In summer, an optional bus connects Tirano (Italy) to Lugano (and vice versa). Seat reservations are compulsory. Be sure to have valid entry documents for Italy since you will leave and re-enter Switzerland.

        Supplement on the Bernina Express train is £4.50 and £6.00 bus

          Swiss Chocolate Train Route Montreux - Gruyères- Broc - and return


          The Swiss Chocolate train is a must for all who enjoy eating chocolate. Ride in a vintage 1915 Belle Epoque or the modern panorama car in 1st class and visit Gruyères, home of the famous Gruyère cheese. Visit Gruyère Castle and then enjoy a trip to the chocolate factory of Cailler-Nestlé for film presentation and chocolate sampling. Customers must hold a valid 1st class ticket or pass and a supplement of £19.00 is compulsory which includes reservation on the train, entrance to the cheese, and chocolate factory as well as the castle. Operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from June to October in 2007 and daily from Monday to Friday between July and August 2007.
